Zoulay

Special Characteristics: 
It has small body size and coarse wool. The horns are small and sometimes absent; the frequency of polled males (called Fartas) is in the order of 10% (Bourfia, 1989).
Main Location: 
This breed inhabits the upper Moulouya valley, the region of Outat El Haj, and the Guercif and Midelt of the eastern plateaux of Morocco (Bourfia, 1989).
Origin: 
This breed is derived by crossing Tounsint with Berber of the upper Moulouya valley.
