The coarse wool coat is white, except pale brown patches on the face; the fleece is long with face and legs being base. Facial profile is straight on the ewe, but slightly convex on the ram. Horns are spiral on the ram, but very rare in the ewe (Mason, 1967).
This breed inhabits the plains of Tiflet and Khemisset between Rabat and Meknes in the north-west of Morocco on the Altantic coast-line. In the Atlas foothills in the region of Tedders the influence of Zaian blood is apparent (Mason, 1967).
